5/8/2018, · Starting with BAss, both ,B,&,O,’s are very clean here with zero distortion. Slightly above neutral bass with a slight punch on certain songs. It’s VERY similar to the Bose QC35ii’s, and comparing to the Sony WH-1000x, Sony has a little more bass, provides slightly more resonance, deeper and lower frequencies, but, the Sony does slightly sound recessed in the mid-range.

The ,B,&,O, Beoplay ,H9, headphones don’t blow any minds, but they certainly perform well. One of the trade-offs of having a sleek design and so much tech is often battery life, and that unfortunately seems to be the case with the ,H9,’s, which, according to ,B,&,O,, last up to 14 hours on a charge.

The ,B,&,O H9, also offer ANC (Active Noice Cancelling technology) but this is where some issues start to arise. Tested side by side with the Bose QC35, the kings of the Noise Canceling headphone world , the ,H9, really seem to leave you wanting more isolation from the external environment.
